Industrial Commission Scraps Plan to Start In-Person Hearings in October

The North Carolina Industrial Commission announced that it is canceling previously announced plans to resume in-person hearings in October as a result of a surge in COVID-19 cases. The commission will continue the current deputy commissioner and full commission hearing procedures until further notice. Deputy commissioners will continue to conduct hearings through Webex videoconference unless the deputy commissioner grants an in-person hearing based on a showing of good cause.
