Second IME Selection Panel Meets in July

The panel that selects physicians to be included on the Alaska Workers’ Compensation Board’s list of second independent medical examiners will hold three public hearings in July. The second independent medical examiner selection panel will meet from noon-1 p.m. on July 6, 13 and 20. Meetings will be conducted telephonically and by video conference. An injured worker or employer can request a second independent medical evaluation when there is a disagreement about the extent or nature of an injury. More information is here. ...
