The Occupational Safety and Health Administration has issued Gavilon Grain in Morral 46 citations with fines totaling $465,500 after inspecting company facilities following the death in September of a 20-year-old worker who was caught in a discharge auger while cleaning out a grain bin.OSHA issued the citations and fines to Gavilon Grain after inspections at the company’s Morral, West Jefferson and Harpster grain bin facilities.The Morral facility was issued a total of eight citations with fines totaling $175,000, including two willful citations for allegedly failing to lock out the disc...
