WCD Forming Committee to Draft Security Deposit Exemption Rules

The Oregon Workers' Compensation Division is forming a rulemaking committee to draft regulations to implement legislation allowing self-insured school districts to request an exemption to the requirement to post security deposits. Self-insured employers and self-insured employer groups in Oregon are generally required to post a security deposit to pay for claims in the event they become insolvent.
