NCOIL Creates Special Committee on Race in Insurance Underwriting

The National Council of Insurance Legislators on Friday announced the creation of a special committee on race in insurance underwriting. The committee, which will hold hearings during NCOIL’s annual meeting in December, is tentatively charged with defining the term “proxy discrimination,” NCOIL said in a statement.
