The Oregon Court of Appeals ruled that the director of the Department of Consumer and Business Services has the authority to address a medical billing dispute over services that were not causally related to an injured worker’s accepted claim. Jacob E. Mantle worked for Whirlwind Services Inc. He suffered injuries to his back and neck at work in April 2016. The injuries were accepted for non-disabling thoracic and lumbar strains.
