The Workers Compensation Research Institute is holding a 30-minute webinar Oct. 3 to discuss the findings from its study into comp claims involving long COVID.
WCRI earlier in the year reported that its analysis found about 7% of workers with COVID-19 claims received treatment for long COVID.
Long COVID was most prevalent among workers who were hospitalized during an acute stage of the disease, WCRI said, but some with limited medical care early after the infection also developed symptoms.
