A California Senate committee passed bills introduced in the Assembly that would extend authorization to use debit cards to deliver benefits to injured workers and extend employers’ obligations to notify workers of potential exposure to COVID-19.
The Senate Labor, Public Employment and Retirement Committee voted 5-0 on Wednesday to pass AB 2148 and 4-1 to pass AB 2693.
