Myra Griffin Named Chief of Industrial Commission

Gov. Roy Cooper has appointed Myra L. Griffin as a commissioner of the North Carolina Industrial Commission, effective May 3. Griffin has served as a deputy commissioner since February 2005. She has also served the organization as a special deputy commissioner and an agency legal specialist. Before joining the commission, Griffin worked as an assistant attorney general in the tort claims section of the North Carolina Department of Justice.
