An Ohio appellate court upheld the denial of a worker’s request for temporary total disability benefits after he was laid off because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Case: State ex rel. Hineman v. Industrial Commission, No. 22AP-149, 03/26/2024. Facts: Brian Hineman worked as a warehouse manager for Paramount Manufacturing Co. He suffered a compensable injury to his left shoulder in November 2018.
