Bill to Expand Warehouse Worker Protection Heads to Governor

New York lawmakers sent the governor legislation that would expand the warehouse worker protection enacted at the end of 2022. Lawmakers on Thursday sent the governor Senate Bill 5081/Assembly Bill 8907, which would require employers to establish programs to reduce the incidence of musculoskeletal injuries among workers performing manual materials handling tasks.
