WCD Setting Up Security Deposit Rulemaking Advisory Committee

The Oregon Workers’ Compensation Division announced that it is developing a rulemaking advisory committee soon to discuss the issue of how to handle security deposits for self-insured employers. The division said it is seeking feedback and advice from system users by the end of the month. “Of course, you may send recommendations and concerns at any time, but if you can send advice about security deposits by the end of June, that will help us form an agenda,” the division said in a statement.
