The White House announced a new initiative focused on reducing occupational injuries and getting federal employees back to work more quickly. Russell T. Vought, acting director of the White House Office of Management and Budget, on Thursday sent a memo to the heads of all executive departments and agencies notifying them about the Protecting Employees, Enabling Reemployment, or PEER, initiative.
