The Texas Division of Workers’ Compensation on Tuesday said it is accepting comments on a proposed rule that aims to prohibit health care providers from using the agency’s complaint process to bypass the medical fee dispute resolution filing deadline.
In most cases, providers are required to file a request to resolve a dispute over fees within one year from the date of service.
