IAIABC Posts Agenda for October Convention

The International Association of Industrial Accident Boards and Commissions posted the agenda for its 107th convention scheduled for Oct. 26-28 in Louisville, Kentucky.

Sessions will cover issues relating to electronic data interchanges, including education about EDI systems, and how they can be used for proof of coverage and medical payment.

The convention will feature a vocational rehabilitation provider and an injured worker discussing strategies that can lead to successful outcomes following workplace injuries. Other topics that will be explored include effective communication and an employer perspective of work comp.

IAIABC said this year’s convention will be a hybrid event allowing those who are comfortable doing so to attend in person while giving others an option to attend virtually.

The 107th convention is being held at the Louisville Marriott Downtown hotel.
