The Colorado Senate unanimously approved a bill that would allow 911 dispatchers to receive workers' compensation benefits for post-traumatic stress disorder.
The Senate on Tuesday voted 40-0 to pass Senate Bill 26, by Sen. Rhonda Fields, D-Aurora. The measure would add overhearing violent acts or the aftermath of violence to the definition of a psychologically traumatic event.
