No Change in 2024 Assessments

The Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations announced that the workers’ compensation administrative tax, as well as surcharges for the Second Injury Fund, will be unchanged in 2024. The administrative tax and administrative surcharge that funds the Division of Workers' Compensation will stay at 1.5%.  The Second Injury Fund surcharge, levied on all self-insurers and comp policyholders, will remain at 3% for 2021, the department said.  The agency is not levying a supplemental SIF surcharge that was designed to address solvency issues in the fund.
