The owner of an insurance agency was arraigned in connection with an alleged scheme to steal $39,000 in workers’ compensation premiums, the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office announced.
Phyllis Palazzola, 56, was arraigned Tuesday on multiple counts of embezzlement and forgery, as well as a single count of selling insurance without a license. Her business, Palazzola Insurance Agency, was arraigned on charges of embezzlement and selling insurance without a license.
Prosecutors allege Palazzola stole $39,000 from businesses between May 2017 and September 2018.
