DWC Revises Rules, Forms for Medical Dispute Resolution

The Texas Division of Workers' Compensation has announced revised rules relating to medical fee and medical necessity dispute resolution have been adopted and take effect May 31.The division has adopted revised forms, for use beginning June 1, in connection to the rule changes, which were adopted by Workers’ Compensation Commissioner Rod Bordelon on May 11, and which were filed with the Secretary of State's Office for publication in the May 25 Texas Register.The changes involve Title 28 Texas Administrative Code (TAC) Chapters 133.307, 133.308, 144.1 to 144.7 and 144.9 to 144.16....
