The Occupational Safety and Health Administration has issued two willful citations, with fines totaling $123,750, to DiGioia-Suburban Excavating, based in North Royalton, Ohio, for allegedly allowing workers to ride inside an excavator bucket to access a trench at a Bowling Green job site on Nov. 17.OSHA reported it conducted an inspection of the site where six workers were digging a trench to replace existing sanitary lines after receiving a complaint.The citations involve allegedly failing to prohibit workers from riding in the excavator bucket to access the trench and not providing a safe m...
