OSHA Publishes Guidance for Compliance Officers

The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration has published guidance for health and safety compliance officers to help ensure enforcement of hazardous chemical standards from 2012. The changes to the "Hazard Communication Standard" adopted in 2012, which reflected changes to international standards from the United Nations, involved new classifications for hazardous chemicals, labeling requirements for those substances and the content of safety data sheets.
