MEMIC Issues $18 Million in Dividends

Workers’ compensation insurer MEMIC has mailed its annual dividend checks to about 17,000 employers in Maine that total nearly $18 million, an amount equal to last year’s record-setting dividend. The largest dividend check is more than $200,000 and the average payout was more than $1,040 per employer, the company said in a news release on Tuesday.
