The Tennessee Bureau of Workers’ Compensation is holding a hearing Thursday on proposed amendments to rules for the Court of Workers’ Compensation Claims and Alternative Dispute Resolution process.
The BWC said the proposed changes would provide that letters or written statements from physicians regarding the reasonableness and necessity of treatment, and medical bills, are admissible at an expedited hearing and do not need to be in an affidavit.
