State Street Global to Continue Managing Two BWC Funds

State Street Global Advisors will continue as the money manager for two funds operated by the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation, the bureau announced Tuesday.

The bureau, which oversees the state-run comp system and more than $26 billion in assets, approved a new contract for State Street at its May 22 board meeting, according to a news report.

The firm will continue managing the $27 million Marine Industry Fund and the $17 million Public Work-Relief Employees' Fund.

State Street was hired in 2008 and has had its contract renewed every two years since then. The latest renewal will run through June 2021.
