Webinar to Cover Professional Administration for Set-Asides

Workers’ compensation industry observers will discuss professional administration of Medicare set-asides during a free webinar Wednesday morning.

The webinar will cover topics including unique therapeutic perspectives of injured workers who settle their claims, as well as the safety measures that professional management services can provide.

The program is a response to a directive the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services issued in October recommending professional administration of set-asides involving drugs that are prone to abuse.

Paul H. Sighinolfi, a senior managing director for Ametros, will moderate the discussion with Mark Pew, a senior executive with Preferred Medical, and Christopher Lagnese, vice president of pharmacy and managed care for Ametros.

The webinar is from 1-2 p.m. Eastern Wednesday.
