Rules Committee Confirms Sweeney

The California Senate Rules Committee on Wednesday unanimously voted to recommend that the full chamber approve a second term on the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board for Commissioner Marguerite Sweeney. Sweeney brought 33 years of experience as a workers’ compensation lawyer to the WCAB when she was appointed by former Gov. Jerry Brown in 2012.
