Pacific Hospital CFO Sentenced for Role in Kickback Scheme

The former chief financial officer of Pacific Hospital of Long Beach was sentenced on Friday for his role in a spinal surgery kickback scheme that included tracking procedures and determining what doctors were owed for referring workers’ compensation patients to have spinal surgeries performed at the Southern California facility.
