The Business and Labor Committee for the Oregon House of Representatives on Monday passed a bill that would allow the Department of Consumer and Business Services to determine by rule the type of claim information insurers must report.
On Friday, the committee passed a measure that would allow insurers and self-insured employers to keep work comp claim records at a location outside of Oregon if the records are available for the Department of Consumer and Business Services to review at an in-state location.
Both bills were requested by Gov. Kate Brown.
