WCB Adopts Updates to ASC Fee Schedule

The New York State Workers’ Compensation Board permanently adopted updates to the Ambulatory Surgery Fee Schedule implemented on an emergency basis earlier in the year. The permanent rules list more than two dozen Current Procedural Technology codes for services performed at freestanding ASCs and for hospital-based ambulatory surgery services that are not subject to the state’s ambulatory patient groups methodology.
