The Oregon Workers’ Compensation Division is soliciting comments on proposed rules to implement legislation passed during the 2023 session.
Lawmakers this year passed HB 3412 expanding treatment authority for physician assistants, and HB 2696 establishes licenses for sign language interpreters that will be issued by the Health Licensing Office.
The division posted a draft of rules to implement the new laws here.
The division asked system users to share any comments about the proposed rules by Aug. 18. Comments can be sent to Daneka Karma at Daneka.a.karma@dcbs.oregon.gov.
