Committee Approves Bill to Expand Parking Lot Coverage

The New Jersey Senate Labor Committee advanced a bill that would make more parking areas part of the workplace, where injuries would be covered by workers' compensation insurance. On Tuesday, the committee voted 3-1 to pass Senate Bill 771, sponsored by Senate Majority Whip Nicholas Scutari, D-Linden.
