Court Declines Review of Benefits Awarded to Security Guard Injured in Chase

A California appeals court on Tuesday declined a petition asking it to review a case in which a security guard received benefits for an injury he suffered after chasing an unruly patron out of a bus terminal in contradiction of his employer’s instructions. Abraham Alex was an unarmed security guard for All Nation Security Services Inc. and worked at the Greyhound terminal in downtown Sacramento.
