The Ohio Nurses Association has filed a complaint with the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration, urging it to “do its job” and better protect nurses on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“OSHA is not requiring employers to follow its own nor the (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's) COVID-19 guidelines,” the association's Robert Weitzel said in a statement. “In fact, OSHA has repeatedly said they will not enter workplaces to investigate.”
