Latest MLFS Proposal Shows Some Progress, but Stakeholders Say Questions Remain

After nearly a year of impassioned deliberations, the California Division of Workers’ Compensation’s latest Medical-Legal Fee Schedule proposal could be the best all sides can expect for now, some stakeholders said. This summer, qualified medical evaluators railed against the DWC’s proposed MLFS changes, saying they didn’t go far enough to reimburse doctors who treat ill and injured workers.
