AF Group Appoints Paul Kearney as Chief Claims Officer

AF Group appointed Paul Kearney as its chief claims officer, a position that will see him leading the company’s claims team to support policyholders and injured workers throughout the country.

Kearney brings to the position two decades of experience and strategic leadership, AF Group said in a statement.

Most recently, he served as second vice president, workers’ compensation field product line claims manager, at Travelers Insurance.

“Over the course of his career, Kearney has been recognized for successfully developing specialized claim solutions and medical management strategies to improve claim processes,” AF Group said. “His career has led to critical knowledge in a number of key areas, including risk management, corporate compliance and performance monitoring.”

Kearney earned a master's in business administration from South University in Savannah, Georgia, and a bachelor’s from Morehouse College in Atlanta. He also holds degrees in insurance services and claims designations.

AF Group consists of companies including Accident Fund Insurance Co. of America, Accident Fund National Insurance Co., Accident Fund General Insurance Co., United Wisconsin Insurance Co., Third Coast Insurance Co. and CompWest Insurance Co.
