The Oregon Workers’ Compensation Division is holding a hearing at the end of November to gather public testimony on rules to implement House Bill 4138.
The bill enacted in March requires insurers and self-insured employers to mail or deliver written notice to a worker or a worker’s attorney explaining why benefits are being terminated.
Rules the division proposed would describe the new notice for the end of temporary disability benefits that is required under the bill.
