California’s COVID-19 presumption law is on the books until 2023, and the state’s employers might be running out of time to get up to speed on what’s required of them, a workers’ compensation defense attorney said Wednesday.
“I’m not a fire-and-brimstone type of person, generally speaking, but really, guys, you don’t have time to waste on this,” said Brenna Hampton, managing partner for the San Diego office of work comp defense firm Hanna Brophy. “You’ve gotta get moving.”
