Independent medical examiners on Friday said they don’t want to be recorded while evaluating injured workers, with many citing concerns that the injured workers recording the exams could be harmed by the unauthorized release of the videos.
Employers also said they’re opposed to House Bill 1763, by Rep. Dan Bronoske, D-Lakewood, because of concerns that providers might not be willing to perform independent medical exams while being recorded.
