Rand Corp. in a report posted to the California Division of Workers’ Compensation website estimates that the mid-point of total liabilities for claims filed against the Subsequent Injuries Benefits Trust Fund between 2010 and 2022 is $7.9 billion.
The report, posted on an SIBTF page of the division’s website Monday, said the range of estimated liabilities for the program range from a low of $6.4 billion to a high of $10.5 billion.
