Berkshire Hathaway Homestate Cos. Adopts AI-Powered CLARA Product Suite

Berkshire Hathaway Homestate Cos. announced that it will implement the full suite of CLARA analytics products to bolster its workers' compensation claims operations.

CLARA products use artificial intelligence and advanced machine learning to increase efficiency and make data-driven decisions, Berkshire said in a statement. The carrier said CLARA's offerings that focus on providers, litigation, claims and Medicare set-asides will reduce loss costs by keeping claims on track throughout their life cycle.

The Berkshire Hathaway Homestate Cos. include Berkshire Hathaway Homestate Insurance Co., Brookwood Insurance Co., Continental Divide Insurance Co., Cypress Insurance Co., Oak River Insurance Co. and Redwood Fire and Casualty Insurance Co.
