The Oregon Workers' Compensation Division announced that the threshold for self-insured employers to report claim loss data will increase to $10,000 from $9,500 next year.
The division said the 2025 self-insured employers' reporting threshold is equal to the split point that the National Council on Compensation Insurance uses for experience rating.
For experience rating, claim costs up to the split point are considered primary losses and given greater weight than the excess losses above the threshold.
