Three states have extended or revised emergency rules regarding hearings and mediations while the pandemic continues.
Georgia: In keeping with an order from the chief justice of the state Supreme Court, the Board of Workers' Compensation has extended until Sept. 10 requirements that parties continue to schedule video-based hearings as much as possible.
In-person proceedings must continue to follow safety guidelines, including the use of face coverings, distancing in the hearing room and adherence to prehearing procedures.
