Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers on Monday signed an executive order creating a task force that will be asked to investigate worker misclassification and recommend ways the state can prevent it.
The Joint Enforcement Task Force on Payroll Fraud and Worker Misclassification, created through Executive Order No. 20, will be asked to review past work of a similar task force, including the final report from a Worker Misclassification Task Force created in 2008.
