The New Mexico Workers' Compensation Administration placed a judge on paid administrative leave while it investigates an allegation that he made a sexual proposal to a female injured worker, the Albuquerque Journal reported in a copyrighted story on Friday.
Chris Berkheimer, a former congressional aide who was appointed by Gov. Bill Richardson, is accused of making the comment in early April while serving as a mediator during a video conference involving the worker, her employer and an insurance company, the newspaper said.
