Haar Moved Up to CEO at Accident Fund

Elizabeth Haar recently was named president and chief executive at Accident Fund Insurance Company, after serving as chief business development officer at the Michigan-based workers' compensation carrier. The Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan board of directors last month approved Haar's permanent appointment to the CEO job. She served as the interim chief executive for the month of May after James Epolito resigned, and the board made it decision on her permanent hiring in June.
