New Presiding Judge Named at Redding WCAB

Kathleen Ortega has been named presiding judge at the Redding Workers' Compensation Appeals Board. Ortega accepted the position and will begin on Monday, according to Susan Gard, spokeswoman of the California Division of Workers' Compensation. Ortega is a two-year employee of the WCAB who had been assigned to the Bakersfield board.
