Andrew Roth, M.D., Orthopedic Specialist passed away on April 15, 2019, unexpectedly in Los Angeles. Dr. Roth was consistently treating and evaluating injured workers in the Los Angeles area for over thirty years. Dr. Roth is survived by his wife Gail Johnson-Roth, three daughters, one son, one stepdaughter, twelve grandchildren and his brother.
Dr. Roth was born in Miskolc, Hungary and completed Medical School at New York Medical College before he served two years in the United States Army as a battle surgeon in Vietnam. Following his service, he completed Orthopedic Residency training at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, and then Spinal Surgery and Pediatric Orthopedic Fellowship training at the University of Toronto and another fellowship at Harvard University. Dr. Roth began an Orthopedic practice in Los Angeles upon completion of his training.
The Worker’s Compensation Community has relied upon Dr. Roth’s orthopedic expertise as an Agreed Medical Evaluator and Qualified Medical Evaluator for many years, and he will be missed.
Memorial Service for Dr Andrew Roth will be held 10:00AM, Friday, 26 April 2019 at Los Angeles National Cemetery, 950 S Sepulveda Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90049
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Los Angeles Holocaust Museum, Wounded Warriors Project, or Wreaths Across America.
