Brandon, FL (June 14, 2023) – ReEmployAbility is pleased to announce its sponsorship of the 2023 Give Kids the World Candy Kingdom Gala on Saturday, August 19th, 2023, at the Orlando World Center Marriott.

Give Kids The World is a nonprofit resort nestled in the heart of Central Florida, focused on providing "critically ill children and their families from around the world with magical weeklong wish vacations at no cost." This 89-acre resort has welcomed over 177,000 families into its doors since 1986 and relies on volunteers and donations to support its mission.

The Workers' Compensation Institute (WCI), a non-profit organization focused on providing resources for all workers' compensation professionals, is hosting this year's Give Kids The World Gala. Fundraising initiatives have generated $783,829 for Give Kids The World over the past 7 years. In 2022, $150,000 was raised for Give Kids The World.

In addition to being a sponsor for this year's Gala, ReEmployAbility will be taking part in a day of service. "ReEmployAbility embraces this opportunity to volunteer at Give Kids The World because our core value of 'Service Oriented' is not just words on a wall. If somehow, our small donation of time, talent, and energy helps put a smile on the face of a child or their family at the park, then it's absolutely worth doing our part", stated Todd Loomis, ReEmployAbility's

National Sales Manager and a volunteer with the WCI Fundraising Committee. Debra Livingston, ReEmployAbility CEO added, "When we come together, we are able to make an impact for a great cause while also building deeper relationships and enhancing our mental well-being."

ReEmployAbility will be attending WCI 77th Annual Workers' Compensation Educational Conference and the 34th Annual Safety & Health Conference, the nation's largest workers' compensation and safety/health professional conference between August 20th – 23rd, 2023. The conference brings in over 7,000+ attendants each year for professional development, networking, and industry-related panels.
