A federal appeals court denied a request to compel the Occupational Safety and Health Administration to declare a temporary emergency standard on workplace infection control in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The request, submitted by the AFL-CIO, was denied Thursday by the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, according to legislative news website Roll Call.
