Travis County grand juries have indicted the owners of two companies on charges of underreporting payroll and committing premium fraud.
Amer Haurani, of Ambassador Limousine and Charter Service in Houston, was charged with underreporting the number of drivers from 2008 to 2012, in order to save money on his workers' compensation premiums, according to a bulletin from the Texas Division of Workers' Compensation.
He faces five to 99 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
